What is Conscious Connection?
After founding a meetup group for Conscious Leaders to gather, in-person, for authentic and deep conversation around how to lead with more compassion, truth and true connection, I lost interest as less and less people were showing up at events. My other work was gearing up and it involved an intensity I needed to place my focus on.
Then the pandemic arrived, to shake up ALL things in-person, as well as rearrange our lives and priorities in so many ways...
Now in 2023, life brings us to a new "normal," where I am learning that truly intimate, meaningful and conscious connections can be created, cultivated, developed and nourished via video screens. Who knew?
After hosting retreats, attending business, social and spiritual gatherings these past 3+ years, most of which were hosted online, I'm learning that online meetings are a great way to hide, as well as practice in a beautiful way, stepping into courageous authenticity,
All the Embodiment training, experiences and practices of the last 10 years have grounded me in how to host, show up, facilitate and guide clients into feeling at home, in their body. Whether on-line, in front of colleagues, family or friends, my mostly-women clientele have learned that they can network from an open-hearted space, they can be with friends or family who might trigger them, and stay in touch with their Truth, their voice, their confidence, their loving connection.
So, what IS Conscious Connection?
It is the act of BEING present while extending that awareness to another or others.
It is feeling all of who you are, mind, body, heart and spirit, in the moment, fully embodied and present. AND, showing up with this wholeness to connect, communicate, share space and energy, with all you meet.
It is through this sense of integrity and centeredness, we are able to speak most clearly, and authentically, and truthfully. Where we create conscious connections.
And, it is NOT easy. It takes practice. Continuous practice. And compassionate self-awareness to return to center when we get triggered...staying when we feel hurt or anger or confusion, dropping back into our hearts and bodies to stay connected instead of running away emotionally, mentally or physically.
